Pricing
This is what everyone wants to know.
The price varies from pool to pool. Depending on whether or not you want to get your hands dirty with a little bit of work will determine how much you ultimately pay for a winterization.
If you’re okay with doing some of the work yourself, you can expect a lower price.
But you never have to worry about the pricing here at Valley Pools. We always offer our customers fair prices for winterizations and all other pool and spa services.
When Should I Winterize My Pool?
Many people in Kelowna choose to winterize their pools between the beginning of September and the end of October, but this doesn’t mean you have to close your pool during this time frame.
The weather in Kelowna typically stays warm well into September, so if you like to swim after the summer months are over, keep your pool open until the end of October.
If you know that you won’t be swimming once September hits, you can certainly winterize your pool early.
We caution people not to leave their closings too late into the fall. When the weather drops below freezing, your lines could potentially break.
If you plan on keeping your pool open until November or later, consider keeping the heater on so the internal plumbing of your pool stays safe from the cold weather.
